PURPOSE:To enhance the working efficiency of cutting and assembling of complementary lay-out parts with the use of a device which cuts and assembles, in one step, the complementary lay-out parts which are integrally incorporated with a chassis, by integrally incorporating a workpiece holding head which may be loosely fitted and absorbingly attached with a cutting knife and the complementary lay-out part, in a unit head. CONSTITUTION:When an outside chassis 2 is positioned, a unit head 10 descends under the operation of an elevating cylinder 13 to cut complementary lay-out parts 1 which are made into contact with and loosely fitted into the front end of a workpiece holding head 7 having a shaft 7a pressed into the inside of the unit head 10. The workpiece holding head 7 is depressed. The cutter knife 6 cuts out the complementary lay-out parts 1 from each other. The complementary lay-out parts 1 are absorbed and held by the workpiece holding head 7 under the operation of an absorbing device. Further, the head 10 ascends and transvers so that the complementary lay-out parts 1 are transferred to assembling positions where projections 2a, 2b are set, and therefore, are attached to the projections 2a, 2b, respectively. |
