An outer, inner-toothed ring gear (3) of a planetary gear assembly is loosely mounted in a casing (B). Several arcuate coupling parts (19) of the outer, inner-toothed gear are fitted to coupling projections of the casing with clearances (g) and (e). The gear is displaceable in radial directions. Radial displacement reduces the noise generation. The gear can deform angularly. The planetary gear assembly includes a plurality of planetary gears (2) each mounted on a shaft (5) and consisting of a gear ring (8) sandwiched between two side discs (6,7). The ring gear is made of a plastic material, and is deformable elastically towards an ellipsoid or space. |
