EXCAVATOR FOR CONSOLIDATION OF PILE PIT

PURPOSE:To form a strong pile pit by providing a consolidated part in which the gyrating diameter of the rear portion is gradually increased beyond the front portion of the turning direction to press contactors provided to an excavating rod. CONSTITUTION:An excavating blade 3 and a stirring blade 4 are attached to an excavating rod 2, and a plural set of two press contactors 5 are attached to the rod 2. An eccentric shaft 6 is also provided to the rod 2 in such a way as to keep the eccentric phase of the shaft 6 at about 180 deg.. The boss 9 of the hollow cylindrical roller 8 of a tapered portion 7 is rotatably fitted loosely to the upper and lower parts of the shaft 6. When the rod 2 is turned, soil stirred by the blade 4 is present between the inner wall of the pile pit and the small-diameter portion Y of the press connectors 5 and is coated on the pit wall by a consolidating part X while moving from the small-diameter portion Y to the consolidating part X as the shaft 6 turns. The press contactors 5 are turned along the pit wall in the opposite direction to the shaft 6 to compact the pit wall.
