发明名称 SINTERED TOOL MATERIAL OF CUBIC NITRIDING BORON GROUP AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture the captioned tool material of excellent cutting performance by sintering, under a limited pressure and at a high temperature, mixed powder, obtained through mixing silicon powder and aluminium powder with another mixed powder, obtained through mixing cubic nitriding boron powder and hard matter powder. CONSTITUTION:Mixed powder is made by mixing on the basis of, for example, 60wt% cubic nitriding boron powder, 22wt% silicon carbide powder, 10wt% silicic acid powder and 8wt% aluminium powder. Through heating this mixed powder up to 1,360 deg.C under the 45,000kg/cm<2> pressure and subsequently cooling it down to 300 deg.C and further returning this applied pressure to the normal one, a sintered body is obtained. This sintered body has extremely excellent performance as a cutting tool for iron group material.
