PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent alloy having improved magnetic characteristics by adding Ni and Al to a five-component system consisting of a rare earth element, Co, Fe, Cu and other added element. CONSTITUTION:This permanent magnet alloy has a composition represented by a foumula R(Co1-x-y-z-alpha-betaFexCuyMzNialphaAlbeta)A (where R is one or more kinds of rare earth elements, M is one or more among Zr, Hf, Ti, Nb, Ta and Si, 0.01<=x <=0.7, 0.001<=y<=0.25, 0.001<=z<=0.15, 0.01<=alpha<=0.3, 0.01<=beta<=0.4, and 5<=A<=12). The amount of Fe can be increased by adding Ni and Al, so the magnetic characteristics such as the residual magnetic flux density, coercive force and energy product are improved. |
