发明名称 PRODUCTION OF SECOND PHASE PARTICLE DISPERSION TYPE ULTRAQUICKLY COOLED ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a second phase particle dispersion type ultraquickly cooled alloy having excellent functions and properties by remelting an ingot obtd. by injecting and dispersing the second phase particles into the base material of a molten alloy then solidifying the molten alloy by ultraquick cooling. CONSTITUTION:An alloy base material 1 is melted in a high frequency melting furnace 2 and while the molten material is poured into a casting mold 3, the second phase particles 4 are injected and added under the gaseous Ar pressure to said material by using a powder feeder 5 for plasma spraying. The molten material is cooled and solidified, and an ingot 8 in which the particles 4 are uniformly dispersed and held is obtd. The ingot 8 is then put into a heat resistant tube 7 formed of quartz glass, etc. and is remelted to the extent of obviating the melting of the particles 4 by a high frequency melting furnace 10 and thereafter the molten alloy is pressurized by a piston 11 via an inert gas 9 such as Ar and is ejected between cooling rolls 12 and 12 under high speed rotation from the nozzle of the tube 7 by which the molten alloy is ultraquickly cooled and solidified. The 2nd phase particle dispersion type ultraquickly cooled alloy formed by dispersing three-dimensionally and uniformly the particles 4 in the ultraquickly cooled alloy matrix 14 consisting of amorphous, crystalline or mixed phases thereof is obtd.
