PURPOSE:To prevent an overload operation of a compressor from occurring due to a temperature rise in the vicinity of a heat exchanger on the heat source side, by a method wherein a heated-up temperature of hot water is modified to a temperature of lower than a set point of a hot water temperature setter when the pressure on the discharging side of a compressor reaches a predetermined high value. CONSTITUTION:In a heat pump type hot water supplying device wherein the heated-up temperature of hot water in a hot water storing tank 2 is set to a predetermined value by the hot water temperature setter 12 and the compressor 1 is operated by a compressor operator 30 so that the temperature of hot water in the tank 2 becomes equal to the value set by the setter 12 whereby hot water in the tank 2 is heated by a hot water supplying heat exchanger 3, the pressure on the discharging side of the compressor 1 is detected by a pressure-detecting means 40, and when the pressure thus detected is not lower than a predetermined value, the operation of the operator 30 is stopped by a pressure protector 50. In addition, when the pressure on the discharging side of the compressor 1 reaches a predetermined high value, the set point of the setter 12 is lowered by a predetermined amount by a controlling means 60. |
