PURPOSE:To prevent communication from being disturbed because of transmission in error from stations other than the communication concerned station by providing a timer circuit and a transmission start inhibiting circuit in series with a tone or noise squelch circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the own station is in the stand-by state and the other stations are busy, the timer circuit 14 is actuated by an output of the noise squelch circuit 6, a busy display is performed from a busy display output terminal 12 and also an inhibiting signal is fed to a transmission start inhibiting circuit 15. Although an output of the circuit 6 is hit also if the talking of the other station is hit, the timer circuit 14 continues an output for a prescribed delay time. The timer circuit 14 is reset by an output of a selecting call signal detecting circuit 5 during the talking of the own station and the busy display is hit in response to the hitting of talking and the inhibiting signal to the circuit 15 is also hit momentarily. |
