PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce vibrations and noises caused by printing impacts, by filling the hollow between a core material and a rotary substrate with a vibration-absorbing material mainly made of soft rubber, and by providing an outer peripheral surface of the rotary substrate with a hard elastic layer. CONSTITUTION:A hollow cylindrical rotary substrate 1 made of a metal such as cast iron etc. or ceramics is penetrated by a core material 1A which is made of a material similar to the substrate 1 and is set and borne by a frame with both ends of the core material 1A as rotary shafts. A vibration-absorbing material 2 of soft rubber such as butyl rubber etc. is stuffed between the rotary substrate 1 and the core material 1A. Additionally to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary substrate 1, a hard elastic layer 3 made of rubber, resin or fiber is provided. Noises or vibrations generated from printing impacts may be greatly inhibited by the vibration-absorbing material 2 and the hard elastic layer 3. |
