PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the 2nd recording layer by coating sequentially the 1st layer made of an organic polymer film containing a light absorbing substance and the 2nd layer made of an organic polymer film containing metallic particles onto a transparent base so as to increase the contrast of signals. CONSTITUTION:A laser light is irradiated from the side of a disc form transparent base 1, nearly 10% of the light is absorbed at the 1st layer 7 where light absorbing metallo-phthalocyanine is dispersed and the light is transformed into heat. The heat produces gas from the organic polymer film of the layer 7, the gas is discharged to the 2nd layer 8 and forms a projected part 9. The incident laser light is scattered at the projected part 9 and the returned light is decreased, then the reflectance after recording is decreased less than that at non- recording and the signal contrast is increased. Ag particles included in the 2nd layer 8 promote the reflection and some absorption of the light, the reflected light is made again incident to the 1st layer 7, where it is utilized effectively so as to contribute the improvement of the recording sensitivity and increase the reflectance of the 2nd layer 8, thereby increasing the signal contrast. |
