ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp color image which is small-sized and obviates interference of each color by charging electrostatically an image carrying body by using a corona discharger provided with a biased grid in the aperture part for electric discharge prior to repetitive exposing of images. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 8 is electrostatically charged by an electrostatic charger 7 and a picture signal of black from a read element 4 or input part 22 is scanned and exposed thereto in the 1st optical scanning body 35 and is subjected to the 1st development of the black image with the 1st developing device 34. A prescribed voltage is then impressed thereon with a recharger 30-a and the image according to the red picture signal is exposed thereto by the 2nd optical scanning body 36. The 2nd development of the red image is performed with the 2nd developing device 37. The development of the blue and red image is performed thereafter by using the 2nd and third chargers 30-b, 30-c and the 3rd and 4th developing devices 39, 41. The color toner image is then transferred onto recording paper P after passage through a controller 42 for the electrostatic charge quantity of the developer.
