CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric transducing film 42 and a transparent electrode 53 are formed to a solid-state image pickup element and voltages phiITO1, phiITO2 different depending on each field are impressed to the transparent electrode terminal 43 during the vertical blanking V, BLK period. Thus, flicker, high light afterimage and blooming are eliminated with a voltage within the dielectric strength of the solid-state image pickup element to strong light.
