PURPOSE:To extend the adjusting range of pulse width by connecting the 1st and 2nd comparator circuits in cascade, connecting a variable resistor between reference voltage terminals of each circuit and adding a diode between each reference voltage terminal and ground so as to compensate fluctuation in the ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:The comparison circuits 2, 3 are connected in cascade to the output side of a driver circuit 1 of a pulse width adjusting circuit and the variable resistor 4 is connected in series via resistors 6, 7 between the reference voltage terminals of the comparator circuits 2, 3. Further, the diodes 11,12 are connected via resistors 5, 8 respectively between each reference voltages terminal of the comparator circuits 2, 3 and ground. Then reference voltage Vx, Vy of the comparator circuits 2, 3 are changed reversely while being related to each other, the pulse width of an output pulse G of the comparator circuit 3 is varied continuously to an input pulse A of the comparator circuit 2 and the fluctuation in the ambient temperature is compensated, allowing to extend the adjusting range of the pulse width. |
