PURPOSE:To obtain a color toner applicable to an overhead projector by elevating the melt index of a toner. CONSTITUTION:A color toner (1) contg. a resin binder and a dye and applicable to vapor phase transfer to a transparency contains a dye especially compatible with the binder resin to obtain a melt flow index of 1.5-20.0, and a ratio of the value of this toner (1) to that of the base material (2) in the case of contg. no dye is regulated to 1.0-10.0. A preferable proportion of the dye to the binder resin is 0.1-20 to 100 by weight. Polystyrene, a styrene-acrylate copolymer, etc. are used for the binder resin, and sublimable dyes subliming at 100-250 deg.C, such as ''Kayalon Fast Yellow 4R'', ''Kayalon Fast Rubin B'', etc. are used as the dye. |
