PURPOSE:To spin spun yarn at high speed without causing uneven twisting, by bringing belts of belt type twister which nip a stable fiber bundle into contact with each other by pressure. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder 21 and the bracket 22 are rotatably attached to the bed 29 in an integrated way, and the shaft 17, namely the drive pulley 11 is rotatable against the cylinder 21. The device 30 for providing contact pressure, the device 31 for adjusting contact pressure, and the device 32 for separating belts are set in the bed 29. The contact pressure between the belts is decided by the product of viscosity of compressed air fed to the device 30 for providing contact pressure and traveling velocity of belt, damping of fluctuations in contact pressure is rapid and almost constant contact pressure can be maintained. |
