<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate breakage and to prevent the lowering in buffering and speed reducing effects, by packing the fluid chamber formed between the inner periphery of a main body and a jet pipe having an once-through flow passage and a large number of small holes provided to the outer wall of said passage with group consisting of individual spring elements each having a predetermined dimension. CONSTITUTION:The fluid mixing chamber constituted between the inner periphery of a main body 1 and a jet pipe 5 is packed with a group consisting of individual spring elements 12 each having a predetermined dimension to form a water hammer preventing apparatus. When the mixing gas or fluid of a jet mixer packed with a packing material is sent into (or sucked into) the fluid mixing chamber, the fluid is flowed through a large number of spring elements 12 while collided with the spring elements 12 allowed to uniformly pack the fluid chamber, deflected and flowed in a zigzag pattern to be gradually reduced in its velocity and reaches the opening parts of the small holes 7 of the jet pipe 5. As the material quality of each spring element, an acid resistant and abrasion resistance one is used, for example, to an acidic fluid.</p> |
