PURPOSE:When winding tape over linear material such as a cable core or a strand, to protect the linear material from damage by feeding the linear material and tape through independent path in a hollow shaft thereby eliminating contact between them. CONSTITUTION:A tape winder 10 is provided with a hollow shaft 16 for passing a linear material 1 supported rotatably by supporting frames 12, 12' and two tape containing reels 18, 18' fixed rotatably onto said shaft 16. Furthermore, flyers 22, 22' having guide rolls 20, 20' rotatable integrally with said reels 18, 18' and a tape guide holder 24 for guiding the tape 2 to be wound over the linear material 1 are provided. Here,the hollow shaft 16 is constructed of an inner fixed hollow shaft section 16A and an outer rotary hollow shaft section 16B. Then the tape is passed through a lead-in hole 16a for arranging a guide roll 26 into a path 68 between them 16A, 16B and led out from a lead-out hole 16b. |
