PURPOSE:To simplify the adjusting work by providing an input means of inputting a gravity acceleration (g) at a place where an electronic type digital display balance is used and a computation means of adjusting span based on the gravity acceleration (g). CONSTITUTION:An electronic digital display balance is provided with a gravity acceleration setter 10, which is composed of a ten key, a digital switch or the like to numerically input the gravity acceleration into a CPU5. In this case, the span adjustment is done to give a mass display m1 when a standard mass m1 is measured at a place of the gravity acceleration g1 and then, the gravity acceleration g2 on the site of using the balance is numerically inputted with the gravity acceleration setter 10 to determine a span constant (a) by the formula a(g2)= g2/g1(g1)=Kg2/g1 for correction. Thus, the calibration of the balance can be done simply. |
