PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy operation of an automatic driving truck by correcting automatically the steering angle of the front wheels to that of the rear wheels by a prescribed angle on the basis of the ratio of operation quantities due to a steering operation level. CONSTITUTION:A mode is selected to give the steering operation of the same direction to both front and rear wheels 2 and 3 so as to give a parallel shift to a truck body 1. In this case, the steering angle thetaF of the wheel 2 is corrected by an amount equivalent to a prescribed angle corresponding to a ratio X/Y between the right-left operation quantity X and the front-back operation quantity Y of a steering operation lever 7 to the steering angle thetaR of the wheel 3, i.e., the steering quantity corresponding to the quantity X based on the ratio X/Y. Therefore the front-back and right-left movements of the lever 7 are intuitively connected to the movement of the body 1 to facilitate a much easier operation of an automatic driving truck. |
