AUTOMATIC TRAIN OPERATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the overrun of a stopping target point due to mistake reception of a ground point signal by outputting an emergency brake command in response to the mistaken reception of the ground point, train speed and position. CONSTITUTION:An ATO train receiver 12 inputs a ground point signal PS to a stopping pattern generator 11 and a ground point signal reception register 17. A proportional controller 18 calculates a brake notch in response to the speed deviation between the stopping pattern fp and a drain speed fv from a pattern generator 16. An emergency brake command output logic unit 19 always monitors a reception mistake of the ground point signal by a loop carrier detection signal Pc from the signal reception register 17 and the receiver 12, butts it to the speed fv and decides the output of the emergency brake command. Thus, the overrun of the train due to the reception mistake of the ground point signal can be prevented.
