This brush holder is characterised in that there are obtained, from the same material, during a single moulding operation, the guide cage 2 for the brush, its cover 3, a web 4 which holds the cover 3 and the cage 2 solidly attached in an open position, a flexible tongue 10 whose free end is capable of interacting with a groove 11 of the cover, two studs 12 which are directed perpendicularly towards the cover 3 and disposed in such a way as to apply the cover 3 against the opening of the cage 2 in the closed position. <IMAGE>
