The present invention relates to a valve with automatic closure intended to be mounted at the exit of a hydraulic conduit, this valve comprising a body 1 in which there is movably mounted a flap 2 capable of interacting with a seat 3 made in the body on the path of the liquid vein. According to the invention, the flap 2 is formed by a differential piston 8 pierced on either side with an axial orifice 16 housed so as to freely slide in the body 1 of the valve, the small face 9 of the differential piston being turned towards the seat 3 whilst its large face 13 delimits with the body of the valve a sealed hydrostatic pressure chamber 15 equipped with a means for putting it in communication with the atmosphere, preferably formed by a second orifice 26 traversing the wall of the pressure chamber 15 and having a smaller cross-section than the first 16. In this way a hydraulic timing valve is manufactured, which only requires as an energy source the liquid which is subjected to its action. The present invention also relates to a gutter washing mouth equipped with such a valve. <IMAGE>
