PURPOSE:To measure phase difference between video signals of at least two image pickup devices accurately on each part of a picture by using a rectangular equilateral triangle wherein the first and second sides are equal and third side makes an oblique side as an object of image pickup. CONSTITUTION:A reference pattern 1 is an image obtained by picking up a rectangular equilateral triangle by a reference image pickup device. A comparative pattern 2 is an image obtained by picking up the rectangular equilateral triangle by a comparative image pickup device. The reference image pickup device is an image pickup device that becomes a reference out of plural image pickup devices in phase comparison. The comparative image pickup device is an image pickup device of the side in which the reference pickup device is compared with video signal. Upper sides of these patterns 1, 2 are parallel to the direction of horizontal scanning of the image pickup device. By comparing the phases of the reference pattern 1 and comparative pattern 2 at timing 6 of specified horizontal scanning, difference of phase of horizontal scanning in reference and comparative image pickup devices is detected by phase difference 3 of front edges. Phase difference 5 of vertical scanning is obtained as a sum of phase difference 3 of front edges and phase difference 4 of rear edges. |
