The subject of the invention is a method and a device for fixing Spanish tiles to roofing battens and fixing components for this use. The rear end of a Spanish tile 1 comprises two raised heels 3a which bear on the upper lateral face of a roofing batten 4. The tile is fixed to the roofing batten by means of a fixing component 5 comprising a clamp 6 which is engaged on the rear end of the tile and points 7 which penetrate into the roofing batten.
