PURPOSE:To avoid a printing trouble caused by a shock when a printing pressure is applied and released by a method wherein a plurality of effective surfaces with an identical circular angle and a plurality of ineffective surfaces with an identical circular angle are alternately provided to an intaglio plate cylinder and an impression cylinder and the two cylinders are pressed against each other under the specific condition. CONSTITUTION:Three ineffective surfaces with a circular angle theta1 and three effective surfaces with a circular angle theta are provided to a peripheral surface of an intaglio plate cylinder 1 alternately and ineffective surfaces with a circular angle theta2 and effective surfaces with a circular angle theta3 are provided to a peripheral surface of an impression cylinder 11 alternately. A peripheral length of a cut-out part 12 of the impression cylinder 11 is identical to the peripheral length of a cut-out part 2 of the intaglio plate cylinder 1 and a peripheral length of an effective surface 13 is identical to a peripheral length of a plate fitting surface 4. A tail end of the cut-out part 12 and a tail end part of the cut-out part 2 of the lagging side to the rotating direction are facing each other. A wiping roller 19 is positioned so as to face a tail end of the other cut-out part 2 at the position where the tail ends of the cut-out parts 2, 12 of the two drums 1, 11 are facing each other. |
