PURPOSE:To more exhibit the cancelling effect even in case of a stereo signal by constituting a cancelling system divisionally with a system for main signal and a system for subsignal. CONSTITUTION:The cancelling system for main signal consists of a differentiator 10, a multiplier 11, and an adder 12 to perform multipath cancel. The cancelling system for subsignal consists of a differentiator 13, a multiplier 15, and a subdetector 16, and cancel in the subsignal region is possible if the phase, the gain, and the characteristic of the differentiator 13 are matched to a subsignal. The detector 16 detects only the subsignal, and a subsignal (L-R) where the multipath distortion is cancelled is obtained as the output. Since a main signal (L+R) is obtained in the main cancelling system, the L-channel output and the R-channel output where the multipath distortion is reduced are obtained as outputs by a matrix 17. |
