PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of operations for preventing scattering powdery granules when cargo is handled by a method in which a container housed with powdery granules is put on the hull and connected with a water supply tube set on the hull, and the powdery granules in the container are slurried to enable them to be easily delivered. CONSTITUTION:Containers 3 housed with powdery granules are stacked up in plural stages in many rows and fixed through a cell guide 4 on the upper deck 2. On the upper deck 2, a water supply system 6 consisting of a water supply pump 9 and a water supply tube 8 and a delivery system 7 consisting of a delivery pump 12 and a delivery tube 11 are set to form a slurry cargo device. The water supply tube 8 and the delivery tube 11 are connected to each container 3 to carry out powdery granules in the containers with good efficiency. Since powdery granules are housed in the containers during the cargo operation period, the scattering of them can be prevented, and effective landing operations are made possible by carrying out the slurry. |
