PURPOSE:To improve the air-tightness by forming a gasket to be used at the sealing section of alkali cell such that a thin film containing chlorinated polyolefin is provided on the surface of an olefin system resin body then forming a synthetic resin layer on it. CONSTITUTION:Positive pole material such as manganese dioxide is filled in a positive pole can 1 then combined with a negative pole can 6 filled with negative pole active substance 5 such as zinc through barrier 3 and separator 4 to seal through a gasket 7 thus to produce an alkali cell. Here the gasket 7 is formed by providing a thin film 72 of chlorinated polyolefin onto the surface of gasket body 71 composed of copolymer of polypropylene and polyethylene then forming a polyamid synthetic resin layer 73 having excellent sealing performance. Consequently the thin film 72 can be adhered firmly while since synthetic resin 73 will move fluidly through the gap the air-tightness can be improved considerably. |
