PURPOSE:To make a display surface simple and reduce power consumption by switching and displaying alternately basic time and another time with a fast-forwarding pulse whose number corresponds to a time difference between the times. CONSTITUTION:A time difference setting signal is outputted from a switch control circuit 16 to set a time difference signal generating circuit 17 to the set mode. In this stage, the clock pulse whose number corresponds to a time difference DELTAT between a basic time T1 and another time T2 is outputted from a time difference setting circuit 13 to the circuit 17 to set the time difference DELTAT. The basic time is displayed on the display surface by a high-level display switching signal from the circuit 16. When the signal from the circuit 16 is switched to the low level, the fast-forwarding pulse from the circuit 17 is outputted to a driving circuit 19 to perform fast-forwarding setting corresponding to (to basic time - the time difference DELTAT). |
