PURPOSE:To simplify connection of a terminal by providing a changeover switch and inserting each module plug to a pair of module jacks on the line side and the telephone set side to search a communication line. CONSTITUTION:A pair of windows are opened in a cover 1, and relative positions of windows are so selected that they are adapted to the arrangement pitch of module jacks MJ arranged in a column in an enclosure. The cover 1 occupies the right Of the front panel face, and an output terminal OUT, an earphone jack EP, and changeover switches SW1 and SW2 are arranged in the left. The changeover switch SW1 connects each two audio signal terminals for line to the output terminal OUT or jacks MJ for telephone set in parallel. The switch SW2 connects/disconnects a signal circuit to the EP which takes out audio signals given to each two audio signal terminals for line. The cover 1 is slidably supported on the enclosure and opens a pair of jacks MJ. Thus, each two lines out of four lines are easily switched to audio signal lines. |
