Laboratory glass apparatus

A laboratory glass apparatus is characterised by a cylindrical glass vessel 1, which is fitted with a ground sleeve 2, flow baffles 12 on the inner wall of the vessel and a magnetic stirrer body 13 at the bottom of the vessel, and by a cock body 7 which consists of a ground core 3 which can be inserted into the ground sleeve 2, a two- or three-way cock 4 fused to the core, one or two outflow tubes 5 and an aeration or venting tube 8 which is introduced through a lateral perforation 6 in the cock body 7 and is preferably bent in the way shown in the drawing. The advantage of the apparatus, in addition to the possibility of being able to carry out different laboratory operations in the same apparatus, is above all that, in combination with a novel commercially available stirring tray with 15 electronically controlled rotating electromagnetic fields, it allows simultaneous stirring operations in a high installation density of the apparatuses. <IMAGE>
