PURPOSE:To stabilize the surface potential of a recording material, to prevent a generation of an offset, and to obtain an excellent image by providing a charge control means by which an electrostatic charge polarity of the surface of a fixing rotating body contacting to the rear side of a toner image surface becomes the same as an electrostatic charge polarity of a toner image. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is provided with a part for forming a toner image T of a specified polarity on one surface of a recording material P by giving the polarity opposite to the toner image T, a part 17 for fixing the toner image T to the recording material P, and a charge control means by which an electrostatic charge polarity of a rotating body 24 contacting to the rear side of the toner image T surface becomes the same as the polarity of the toner image, with respect to the recording material P which is longer than a distance between both said parts. Also, the first rotating body 17 has on the surface a material which is charge electrostatically to the same polarity as the toner image T. In this way, since a distance between the transfer part and the fixing part is shorter than a length of the transfer meterial P, this means is effective for an image forming device in which the potential of the transfer material P is large, and especially, there is an excellent offset effect when the surface potential of the rotating body 24 is small. Also, this device is provided with the charge control means by which the electrostatic charge polarity of the rotating body 24 and the image T becomes the same, therefore, the surface potential of the recording material is stabilized, an offset preventive effect becomes good, and an excellent image is obtained. |
