摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of exhaust gas purification as well as shock of output down by a method wherein a fuel supplying means and an operating condition detecting means as well as a CPU, having an air-fuel ratio determining means and an air-fuel ratio regulating means, are provided in the device. CONSTITUTION:An injector 3 is controlled by the CPU12 based on the suction air volume of an airflow sensor 14 to inject fuel. The basic airfuel ratio is determined in the CPU12 in accordance with the output of a throttle opening degree sensor 7. An igniter 11 controls the ignition timing of the engine when the air- fuel ratio is changed. When the air-fuel ratio is switched from rich to lean, the ignition timing is delayed gradually to reduce the output of the engine and when the output down has arrived at a predetermined value, the ignition timing is advanced to a predetermined position. According to this method, the shock of output down may be prevented without deteriorating the exhaust gas purification.
