To remove plaster, paint or cement remnants and to scrape off residues of all types from working surfaces, a scraping tool with a stripping blade is provided, which, besides a [lacuna] on a bar (2) fixed coaxially to the handle (1), a further hand-actuable pressure and guiding lever (3) is arranged, upon whose actuation in the main stripping direction (4), at the end (5) opposite the handle (1), the stripping blade (6) is brought into the working position in a yielding manner. The tool is versatile, especially as a result of the large number of operating positions which can be adopted by way of pivot levers. <IMAGE>
