A device for cleaning teeth comprising a housing (2) adapted to house a quantity of dental floss, a locking member (9) having at least one aperture therein and a formation (6a, 6b) adapted to support a span of dental floss, the device having at least one aperture therein such that the floss in an operative arrangement of the device passes through the aperture in the device, thereafter forms the span and thence passes through the aperture in the device, the arrangement being such that the floss passing through the aperture in the device also passes through the aperture in the locking member when the latter is in an operative position. |
