PURPOSE:To provide the titled paint having excellent low-temperature mechannical properties, and suitable for the heavy corrosion protection of a marine construction such as sea berth for oil exploitation, by mixing a powdery water- crosslinkable polyolefin material to an epoxy resin, a pigment, a nonaqueous diluent and a curing agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective paint is obtained by mixing (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a pigment, (C) a nonaqueous diluent, (D) a curing agent and (E) a powdery water-crosslinkable polyolefin material [e.g. a polyethylene having -Si(OR)3 group in the molecule]. The amount of the component E in the solid component of the paint is 15-30wt%, preferably 20-25wt%. EFFECT:A thick coating film can be formed under keeping the corrosion resistance, flexibility, low-temperature impact resistance, etc. |
