DETECTION FOR LUBRICATION CONDITION AND BREAKOUT FORESEEING METHOD

PURPOSE:To foresee a breakout by providing an ultrasonic probe in the wall of a mold and quantifying a degree of interference as an acoustic pressure reflection relative ratio if reflected waves from the inside of the mold interferes in reflected waves from the face of the inside wall of the mold. CONSTITUTION:Plural ultrasonic probes 8a and 8b are provided in the wall of a mold 7, and ultrasonic waves are transmitted from ultrasonic probes 8a and 8b into the mold. If reflected waves from the inside of the mold interferes in reflected waves from the face of the inside wall of the mold, this interference synthesized signal is calculated as an acoustic pressure reflection relative ratio by a ratio operator, and the calculated value is not only sent to a comparator 10 but also recorded on a recorder 11. The comparator 10 compares a set reference value with the inputted calculated value; and if the latter is smaller, the film thickness of powder 12 is judged to be abnormal to raise an alarm from an alarm device 13.
