PURPOSE:The titled latex providing a sheet having improved strength, peel strength, heat-resistant strength, and heat coloring resistance, obtained by subjecting a conjugated diolefin, a tertiary amino group-containing unsaturated monomer and an epoxy group-containing monomer to emulsion polymerization. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. monomer mixture consisting of (A) 25-70wt% conjugated diolefin (e.g., butadiene, or isoprene), (B) 0-7wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g., acrylic acid, or maleic acid), (C) 1-20wt% tertiary amino group-containing unsaturated monomer (e.g., dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) and or monomer such as glycidyl methacrylate, shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are H, or CH3; n is 1-5; m is 0, or 1), and (D) (the rest %) vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the compounds is subjected to emulsion polymerization in the presence of 2-20pts.wt., preferably 5-15pts.wt. naphthalenesulfonic acid formalin condensate. |
