PURPOSE:To measure automatically noodles quantitatively without cutting noodle lines by spraying a jet water current across an escape shoot, which crosses and is connected to a drop shoot, to flow out noodle lines, which stretch over the drop shoot and a measuring box, to the escape shoot. CONSTITUTION:Noodles are flowed to a measuring box 7, which is provided with a water hole, together with water through a drop shoot 5 led down vertically from a noodle tank 3. If there are noodles lines stretching over the noodle tank 3 and the measuring box 7, they are flowed into the flow-out part of an escape shoot 6 by the transverse jet water current traversing the escape shoot 6 and are returned to the noodle tank 3 through a return tube 60. A bottom cover of the measuring box 7 is opened while continuing the traverse jet water current from the escape shoot 6 to drop noodles to a receiving basket 41 on a conveyor 4 through a hopper 11. Then, noodles are measured with the size of a ball of noodles without cutting. |
