Process for the continuous production of a double-sided roughened thin flexible ceramic tape with predetermined surface texture by the band pouring process, in which a ceramic powder (1), plasticised with solvents and binders, is poured in the form of a paste onto an open-porous band as lower covering (6), resting on a conveyer belt (4), is smoothed and calibrated by a blade (5) and covered by an open-porous band as upper covering (8), and the laminate (10) thus covered on both sides is dried and sintered. Variant I: coverings (6;8) of organic, decomposable material. Variant II: coverings (6;8) of inorganic, non-decomposable material, the dried laminate (10) being peeled off. Variant III: lower covering (6) of ceramic layer to be bonded.
