A method for manufacturing permanent inserts for shoes is described, in which a pasty curable mass which subsequently remains elastic is introduced into the mould of the insole of a shoe of any type and is covered with a material sole. Subsequently, the combination is introduced into the shoe, the shoe is put on and temporarily loaded in the manner envisaged for the shoe. As a result of the loading, the insole is shaped accurately to the individual circumstances of the foot. Finally, the mass is cured in a suitable manner according to its composition.
