PURPOSE:To move a seesaw up-and-down by a method wherein the center of gravity of the seesaw is moved by the change of a shape memory alloy element. CONSTITUTION:When the element 6 at the right side of a swing rod 1 is dipped into liquid 8, the element 6 expands. According to the expansion, the center of gravity of the swing rod 1 of the seesaw A moves to the left side of the shaft 4, therefore, the left side of the swing rod 1 is descended and the element 5 is dipped into the liquid 8. According to this change, the alloy element 5 expands and the element 6 contracts, therefore, the center of gravity of the rod 1 moves to the right side thereof. This up-and-down motion is continued as far as atmosphere 7 and the liquid 8 have a temperature difference sufficient to deform the alloy elements 5, 6. |
