LOADING DEVICE FOR CALIBRATING AND TESTING OVERLOADING PREVENTION DEVICE AND CARRYING OUT STATIC TESTS WITH JIB MOBILE CRANES

The solution falls within the branch of devices for testing and calibration of lifting devices of mobile jib cranes. The principle of the proposed solution, which consists of a support beam arranged hingedly on a horizontal catching pin and equipped on one of its ends with a loading weight and on its other end with a balancing weight, consists in the fact that the horizontal catching pin (2) is rotationally arranged in a fixed stand (3) and a support (1) is on the side of the loading weight (4) equipped with a slider (5) with travelling wheel (6, 7) and side bearing pulleys (8). On the frame of the slide there is a swinging suspension (9), serving for suspending the devices on a hook (10) of a tested and measured crane, and a drive element (11) linked to a toothed gearing (12) engaged with a link chain (13) on the lateral side of the support (1), equipped with a longitudinal measuring ruler (14). The solution removes physical strain of operating personnel during the testing procedure of the crane resulting from presently known methods, increases measuring accuracy, and shortens the time necessary for measuring with concurrent improvement of labour safety.<IMAGE>
