EQUIPMENT FOR VEE BELTS COATING

In classic devices the material used for coating is duck canvas wound on a coil without a separation wrap, which results in many problems - sticking, tensioning, duck canvas doubling etc. Therefore there is a tendency to use duck canvas belts wound on coils in a wrap of a separation foil. That what still complicates the situation is the fact that in the devices for coating of wedge belts it is necessary to solve simultaneous unwinding of duck canvas and the separation coil. In presently known devices this problem is solved in a complicated way - by means of electronic equipment. The above mentioned drawbacks are partially removed by a device for coating of wedge belts, consisting of a profiled confection disc with one or more stitchers, or eventually with elements for guiding and forming of the duck canvas coating, and of at least one profiled guiding wheel. The principle of the solution consists in the fact that the device contains at least one mechanism for controlled unwinding of the duck canvas belt, formed by a coil, on which, in the wrap of the separation foil, the duck canvas belt is wound, and which is decelerated by means of a brake. Then the device contains an unwinding cylinder and a pressing cylinder for unwinding of the separation foil, which is synchronised via a chain transmission between the confection wheel and an unwinding cylinder of the duck canvas belt.<IMAGE>
