In a dental prosthesis having a holding part to be fixed to the residual teeth and comprising at least one locking receptacle, and having a removable prosthetic part, gripping over the holding part, with a locking element fixed to the underside thereof and allocated to the locking receptacle, the locking element can be releasably connected with a holder fixed to the prosthetic part. The locking element is designed as a spring element and can be exchanged for a new locking element when the seat of the prosthetic part becomes loose, for example, in the case of fatigue of the spring action.
