PURPOSE:To produce natural paste suitable for the preparation of health noodles and having activated viscosity of the starch, by converting the starch of polished adlay and barley completely to alpha-form, and pulverizing the product. CONSTITUTION:Polished adlay is mixed with barley at a proper ratio, e.g. 50:50 by weight, and the mixture is subjected to the procedures consisting of kneading under high temperature and pressure, and releasing into the atmosphere to effect the expansion of the grains and the complete conversion of the starch to alpha-form. The product is pulverized to fine powder to obtain the objective natural paste. |
