PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the titled coupler and to improve the directivity of a microstrip near specific frequency by setting the length to a value or less obtained by dividing the using length by a prescribed value and the width to a fixed range rate to the width of a main line and arranging the coupler on a position so that the interval between the main line and the coupler is the width of the main line or less. CONSTITUTION:The length l of the main line 7 and the coupling line 8 is 1/15 of the wavelength lambdag of using frequency and the interval (c) between the main line 7 and the coupling line 8 is >=0.7 times the width (a) of the main line and <=1.4 times. Both the ends of the main line 7 and the coupling line 8 are terminated by respective terminal resistors 51-54 (impedance Z0) and an input power supply 6 is connected to the input terminal 1 of the main line 7 through the terminal resistor 51. Thus, the titled coupler can be reduced in size and the directivity near the specific frequency can be extremely improved. |
