PURPOSE:To detect the flow rate highly sensitively without mounting a permanent magnet to a rotary body, by detecting the number of rotation of a magnetic rotary body, which is rotated by the turning axial flow, by a magnetoresistance element, and operating and processing the signal. CONSTITUTION:When a fluid flows to an outlet port 4 from an inlet port 3 of a flow-rate detecting device, the turning axial flow is obtained by fixed blades 5. A magnetic rotary body 6 is rotated at the number of rotation proportional to the flow rate. The number of rotation is detected through a magnetoresistance element 8 and a permanent magnet 9, and operated and processed by a control circuit 11. Thus the flow rate is obtained highly sensitively. Since a permanent magnet is not mounted on the rotary body 6, poor rotation due to the attachment of foreign materials such as iron powder in the fluid does not occur. |
