PURPOSE:To make the magnitude of signals of synthesized signal passages uniform and the prevent lowering of resolving power and increase of false signals by providing a device that makes the ratio of intensity of light incident to plural pickup elements to a fixed value that does not depend upon its wavelength between a separate optical system and solid-state image pickup elements. CONSTITUTION:Incident light 2 from the lens 1 of an image pickup device is divided into transmitted light 4 and reflected light 5 by the half prism 3 of a separate optical system and projected respectively to solid-state pickup elements 6, 7. Color filters 30, 31 are placed between the prism 3 and pickup elements 6, 7, and an output of the pickup elements 6, 7 is applied to a processing circuit 12 through amplifiers 8, 9 and amplifiers 10, 11. Spectral characteristics of the filters 30, 31 are made to color filter spectral characteristics 42, 43, and transmitting and reflecting spectral characteristics are corrected respectively to make spectral characteristics of light incident to image pickup elements 6, 7 equal. Thus, lowering of resolving power of video signals composed in the circuit 12 and increase of pseudo signals are prevented. |
