PURPOSE:To reproduce fine sound at the time of double speed reproducing by reproducing sound tracks alternately magnetized in the same direction successively by a pair of sound heads having the same azimuth angle. CONSTITUTION:In the double speed reproducing, a head switch 24 is switched to a sound head 6 and a sound head 23 having the same azimuth angle as the sound head 6 and arranged close to a sound head 7 and a magnetic tape is alternately reproduced and scanned by the sound heads 6, 23. An FM sound signal is reproduced every other one-field period to execute so-called field skip reproducing. Although the quantity of reproduced sound information is the same as that of a normal sound signal reproducing method, the FM sound signal is removed in every short period, i.e. every field period, and reproduced little by little, i.e. every other one-field period. Consequently, the hearing interruption of the reproduced sound is removed. |
